Real Madrid have set two new goals record in the Spanish LaLiga this season.

According to OptaJose, the Los Blancos is now the team that has scored the most goals from elaborate attacks (eight) and from set pieces (17) in the LaLiga this season.

Meanwhile, only Villarreal (eight) has scored more counter-attack goals than the Real Madrid team (seven) this term.

This comes following Real Madrid’s recent LaLiga 2-0 win against Valencia on Sunday.

Recall that two goals from Álvaro Carreras and Kylian Mbappe gave Álvaro Arbeloa’s side the victory against the hosts at Mestalla Stadium.

Real Madrid are just one point behind league leaders Barcelona on the LaLiga table after 23 matches.

They will face Real Sociedad in their next LaLiga tie on Saturday at home.
