Alex Iwobi’s stunning strike in Fulham’s 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at the Craven Cottage has been shortlisted for the Premier League March Goal of the Month award, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
Iwobi doubled Fulham’s lead in the 34th minute with a long-range, side-footed finish from outside the box.
The goal was the Nigeria international’s fourth of the season for Marco Silva’s side.
The versatile midfielder has also registered three assists in 23 league appearances.
Iwobi has also been nominated for the Player of the Month award.
Morgan Gibbs-White, Elliott Anderson, William Osula, Bernardo Silva, Iliman Ndiaye, and John McGinn are the other players nominated for the Goal of the Month award.
