Kensington Palace has released a new photo of Prince George to mark his 13th birthday.
The photo of the young royal was released as he became a teenager on Wednesday, July 22.
Sharing the picture to its social media pages, the palace – which is the official London residence of Kate Middleton and Prince William – wrote: “Happy 13th birthday, George!” alongside a party popper emoji.

The picture was taken after last month’s Trooping the Colour by photographer Matt Porteous.
George is the eldest son of the Prince and Princess of Wales and is the second in line to the throne.
He was born in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London, at 4.24pm on July 22, 2013.
The future King will also be starting secondary school at Eton College in September, following in his father’s footsteps.
