Nollywood actor Kunle Afod has paid an emotional visit to veteran actor Baba Opebe.
In a video he shared on his social media page, he revealed that the actor has been battling an illness for over a year.
Speaking for himself, Baba Opebe said doctors told him he had a low blood count. He said he had received four pints of blood and undergone several tests, but his condition hasn’t improved.
Afod revealed that he donated a hundred thousand to the veteran, while calling on the public to pray for him.
“I visited Baba Opebe; what I saw broke my heart.
I found out that he has been battling sickness for over a year. Seeing one of our veterans, who has contributed so much to the growth and development of Nollywood, in this condition was deeply painful.
There are people who worked tirelessly, sacrificed so much, and helped make Nollywood what it is today.
I pray that God Almighty will stretch forth His healing hands upon Baba Opebe and every one of our veterans who is currently going through one challenge or another.
May God strengthen them, restore their health, and reward them for all their contributions to our industry.
