National Women’s Soccer League, NWSL, club, Boston Legacy FC have unveiled Super Falcons striker, Gift Monday.
Monday, who penned a five-year contract with Boston Legacy FC side will wear the number 22 jersey at her new club.
It would be recalled that Boston Legacy announced the forward’s signing from fellow NWSL club, Washington Spirit on October 6.
Washington Spirit received US$500,000 as transfer fee, and also 20 per cent sell-on clause.
Monday, who joined Spirit from Spanish club UD Tenerife in March 2025 is regarded as one of the best forwards in the NWSL.
The 24-year-old scored a hat-trick in 35 minutes and 52 seconds against Houston Dash in September 2025, setting the NWSL record for the fastest hat-trick from kickoff.
She registered 12 goals and three assists in 48 appearances across all competitions for Washington.
Monday has also previously played for COD United Amazons, FC Robo and Bayelsa Queens.
