Enyimba goalkeeper, Dede Dare, has expressed confidence that the team will improve its position in the league table.
Tobi Iyanda scored the winner for the nine-time Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions in the 1-0 victory over Kun Khalifat FC in Aba on Sunday.
The People’s Elephant moved up to 17th position in the table with 11 points following the victory.
Dare said that the team is desperately in need of points.
“We are glad with the three points as the victory will move us a little up in the league table,” Dare told the club’s media.
“The mindset was to secure victory in the game as we all needed the three points desperately,” he said.
