William Troost-Ekong has declared that the Super Eagles want to go for the title at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles secured a place in the semi-final of the competition after a hard-earned 1-0 victory against the Palancas Negras of Angola.
“We have been defending well like a great team and we have been attacking and creating chances as a good team,” the centre-back told reporters.
“I like the fighting spirit and togetherness of this team.
“We’re heading in the right direction because we want to go all the way.”
Troost-Ekong has featured in four games for the Super Eagles at the AFCON 2023 finals.
