The Super Eagles will begin preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations with their first official training session at the mainbowl of the Cairo International Stadium on Monday, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
The session, according to the team’s media officer, Promise Efoghe, will start at 8pm local time on Monday.
11 players are currently at the team’s base, Renaissance Hotel in Cairo.
12 more players are expected to arrive before tonight’s training.
The camp officially opened on Sunday with Francis Uzoho, Stanley Nwabali, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Ebenezer Akinsanmiro among the early arrivals.
Nigeria will take on the Pharaohs of Egypt in a Pre-AFCON friendly on Tuesday.
They will fly to Morocco after the game to continue their preparation for the competition.
