Tunisia are the leaders of Group C at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, following their 3-1 win over Uganda on Tuesday night.
The Carthage Eagles raced into a two-goal lead in the first half, thanks to goals from Ellyes Skhiri and Elias Achouri.
They extended their lead in the 64th minute of the match after Achouri grabbed his second.
There was enough time for Uganda to get on the scoresheet in extra time through Denis Omedi.
The win means Tunisia are the early leaders in the group on goal difference.
Earlier in the day, Nigeria beat Tanzania 2-1 and that puts them in second place ahead of their clash against Tunisia.
