Big Brother Naija housemate Bright has opened up about an awkward moment that left him surprised on the very first day in the house.
Speaking during his diary session with Big Brother, Bright recounted how he attempted to hug a female housemate during their initial introductions, only to be rejected outright.
According to him, while everyone was exchanging pleasantries and hugs, he turned to the lady in front of him after hugging someone beside her — but was immediately shut down.
“She was like, ‘No, no, no, I don’t hug. I don’t give out hugs,’” he said, visibly still surprised by the moment.
“That hasn’t happened to me in a long time. I wasn’t expecting that,” he added. “But not to drop my aura, I just said ‘Oh really? Okay, okay,’ and moved on to the next person.”
When asked about other early impressions, Bright also mentioned that he’s had an interesting experience with another housemate he described as “Imisi.”
He said, “I think she doesn’t listen to understand — she listens to argue.”
