Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) star Angel Smith is reportedly married to her girlfriend, identified as Tunmie, in the United States.
The news of Angel’s relationship gained traction on social media after a video surfaced showing the couple displaying what appeared to be wedding rings alongside a marriage certificate.
In the clip, Angel and her partner looked cheerful as they admired the ring together a moment that quickly drew attention from Nigerians, many of whom assumed it was a wedding ring.
Angel was previously romantically linked to fellow BBNaija contestant Soma, though reports suggested they eventually went their separate ways. She later addressed the matter publicly, clarifying their relationship status. Her recent public appearances with a female partner have since fueled speculation about her sexuality.
Despite the buzz online, Angel has not officially confirmed or denied reports of the marriage.
N ewsunplug previously reported that in 2024, Angel had allegedly announced her engagement in a video, proudly showing off her ring. At the time, she was with Ilebayé Odinaya, the winner of Big Brother Naija All Stars, and described the ring as a bold statement piece rather than a traditional one.
