Hollywood power couple, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, have finalized their divorce.
Lopez in documents submitted to the Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday 6th January, 2025, confirmed that she had reached a settlement with Affleck through mediation in September 2024, about a month after filing for divorce.
Once a judge approves their divorce on February 20, 2025, Lopez will legally drop ‘Affleck’ from her name.
The couple will keep the earnings from their individual business ventures and projects without paying any spousal support.
According to the Mirror, the duo have agreed to remain in each other’s lives despite the divorce.
NEWSUNPLUG recalls that Lopez, 55, and Affleck, 52, got married in July 2022.
In August 2024, Lopez filed for divorce and listed April 26, 2024, as their separation date. She cited irreconcilable differences for the split.
Affleck shares Samuel, 12, Seraphina, 15, and Freshly, 18, with his first wife. While Jennifer had 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max, from her marriage to her former husband, Marc Anthony.
