The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro’s 41-man provisional squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

CAF unveiled the list on its official website on Wednesday morning.

Three local players, Ojo Olorunleke, Amas Obasogie and Christian Nwoke make the list.

Peseiro is expected to submit his final to CAF latest January 3.

Following a decision by the CAF Organising Committee of the Africa Cup of Nations, all 24 teams will be permitted a final squad of 27 players.

The registration of the four additional players on the final list is only an option and not an obligation.

The final tournament will take place from 13 January to 11 February 2024 in the Ivorian cities of Abidjan, Bouake, Korhogo, San Pedro and Yamoussoukro.
