Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has confirmed that James Trafford will start Sunday’s Carabao Cup final against Arsenal.
Guardiola has used Trafford for all of City’s fixtures in the competition.
And the Englishman will start again ahead of Gianlugi Donnarumma at Wembley, as they seek to lift the first piece of silverware of the campaign.
Guardiola insists that the most important thing is that he is ready when called upon.
He said: “Players can be happy, unhappy. It is what it is.
“Be here, do the best he can do, and after we’ll see what happens at the end of the season.
“The important thing is they have to be ready.”
