Former Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher, has claimed there are three teams better than Real Madrid in this season’s Champions League.
He listed them as Manchester City, Inter Milan and Arsenal.
Carragher was reacting on CBS Sports to Madrid’s 1-1 draw with RB Leipzig in the second leg of their last-16 tie.
“I do feel they’re a long way short of certainly Manchester City, and maybe Inter Milan and Arsenal.
“I don’t think they’re up there when it comes to the best teams in Europe right now,” Carragher said.
Madrid have now qualified for the quarter-finals along with City, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
