American country music legend, Dolly Parton has reacted to the reports that she and Miley Cyrus are seventh cousins.
A family history website, Ancestry.Com reported that Miley Cyrus is distant cousins with both Dolly Parton and the late Michael Jackson.
Reacting to the report in an interview with Access Hollywood, Parton said she wasn’t surprised by the report, adding that Cyrus feels like family.
“We’re so close, Miley and I. I would’ve thought we’d have been at least third cousins, 10 times removed… It doesn’t surprise me because she does feel like family,” she said.
“I’m sure [Miley] will get a kick out of that!”
Miley Cyrus has previously revealed that Dolly Parton is her role model.
