A security operative was captured on camera g^nning down an unidentified person in Azare, Katagum Local Government Area of Bauchi State on Monday, August 5, 2024
In a video sighted by LIB on X, the young man was seen lying on the ground as some persons hit him repeatedly.
Shortly after, the security operative who was standing beside a white Toyota Hilux van, hit the unidentified youth twice, pointed his riffle directly at him and immediately pulled the trigger
According to Daily Trust, the incident happened in front of Katagum Local Government secretariat, where policemen and some protesters flying Russian flag clashed.
A resident of Azare, who did not want his name in print, told the publication that the deceased was one of the “hoodlums” arrested by the police.
