Former Manchester City man, Micah Richards, has called Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes an absolute machine.
He insisted that the Brazilian defender, Gabriel Magalhaes, has proved him wrong.
Gabriel was outstanding again as Arsenal beat Crystal Palace 1-0 on Sunday to open a four-point gap in the Premier League table.
The former England international reserved special praise for defender Gabriel.
Richards said he “wasn’t sure” about the Brazilian defender when he completed a £27m move to the Emirates Stadium.
He said the South American has now won him over.
Speaking on The Rest is Football podcast, Richards said: “Gabriel, what a player he is. I wasn’t sure about him at the start — he made a couple of mistakes; I thought he looked a little clumsy.
“But he’s now turned into an absolute machine. He’s so key from set-pieces, for and against.”
Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea all suffered defeat last weekend, with Bournemouth now in second place in the EPL log.
