Manchester United head coach, Ruben Amorim, has admitted Harry Maguire and Casemiro may not be at the Premier League club beyond next summer.
As it stands, Maguire and Casemiro could sign pre-contract agreements with other clubs in January, before they eventually become free agents in the summer.
Amorim has now hinted that a decision could be determined by if United get European football next season.
“No, there is no decision,” Amorim told journalists.
“We have a lot to do. We need to understand what is going to happen in the next season, because we need to understand if there is European games.
“I’m really happy with them, but I don’t know what is going to happen, so we’ll see what is going to happen until the end of the season, what position we will be, and then we’ll see.”
