Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has claimed only two teams are capable of winning the Premier League title this season.
According to Neville, they are Arsenal and Liverpool.
He was speaking on Sky Sports after the Gunners won 2-1 at Newcastle United on Sunday.
Mikel Arteta’s men went behind to a Nick Woltemade goal, before fighting back to win thanks to Mikel Merino and Gabriel Magalhães.
The result takes Arsenal to within two points of leaders Liverpool.
Neville has now said they have the best squad in the division.
He said: “Mikel Arteta has got a brilliant squad. He’s got a brilliant squad, I think he’s got the best squad in the league and maybe the best team in the league and I say that quietly because Liverpool are excellent.
“There’s only two teams who can win this league – Liverpool and Arsenal – I don’t think anyone else can.”
