Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has named defender Luke Shaw as the best left-back in the Premier League.

According to Ten Hag, Shaw is performing so well for both club and country.

Shaw has been at Man United for nine years since joining the Premier League giants from Southampton back in 2014 for a fee rising to £31m.

The England international has made 249 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring four goals and providing 28 assists.

“[Shaw has had a] great season so far. [He’s made] great progress, so I think it is really good news for Manchester United that he stays playing for Manchester United,” Ten Hag told the club’s official website about Luke Shaw.

“I think it tells everything, he is the best-left full-back in the UK. You see it also in the England team, he is performing so well there as well,” he added.
