Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has named the Arsenal player Mikel Arteta would be most disappointed with.

Ferdinand said the manager could begin to have doubts over Gabriel Magalhaes.

This is following Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Gunners gave up a two-goal lead against West Ham at the London Stadium.

West Ham fought hard to grab a point after Gabriel brought down Lucas Paqueta inside Arsenal’s penalty area which resulted in a spot kick scored by Said Benrahma.

Jarrod Bowen scored West Ham’s equaliser just minutes after Bukayo Saka missed a penalty and lost the opportunity to put Arsenal 3-1 ahead.

“I thought they [Arsenal] let themselves down,” Ferdinand said on Vibe With Five.

“But rash, and I’ve said this about Gabriel a few times. He’s rash, he makes mad, wild decisions.

“It was a rush of blood, he needs to eradicate that, get that out of his game quick.

“As a manager, you’re going, ‘Hold on, can I rely on this guy?’”
