Senior officials at Manchester City are more concerned about Pep Guardiola possibly leaving the club than the ongoing investigation into 115 charges from the Premier League.
The club has been involved in a legal dispute with the league for three years, claiming they are not guilty.
Although the court case ended in December 2024, a final decision hasn’t been made yet.
If found guilty, Manchester City could be fined heavily or lose points.
However, the major worry for City’s hierarchy is the uncertainty surrounding Guardiola’s future.
The Telegraph says the players are aware that plans are being made in case Guardiola leaves at the end of the season.
Guardiola’s contract is set to run until the summer of 2027, but the Spaniard has said he will decide his future this year.
