Former Arsenal midfielder, Ray Parlour has named only two clubs to challenge for the Premier League title this season.

Recall that Liverpool won the Premier League title last season ahead of Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea.

This season, the Reds currently sit on top of the table after five games, winning all their matches so far.

However, Parlour believes Arne Slot’s side and the Gunners are the only two teams to compete for the title, suggesting that it will be a two-horse race.

“I would not panic yet, but the problem you have is that Liverpool have not played great this season so far, but they have won five games out of five,” Parlour told Hayters.

“I don’t think Man City can challenge for the title – I really don’t – and I don’t think Chelsea can, so I really believe it’s only Arsenal and Liverpool in the race.”

This comes after Arsenal’s Premier League 1-1 draw with Manchester City over the weekend.
