Former Arsenal man, Ray Parlour has urged his former club to give contract extensions to both Martin Odegaard and William Saliba following the news of Bukayo Saka’s new contract.

It was reported earlier this week that Saka has agreed to sign a new deal with Arsenal that will see him become their highest earner on £300,000 per week salary.

“Most teams around the world would love someone like [Bukayo] Saka in their team.

“Gabriel Martinelli obviously signed a new contract, which is good news, it looks like Saka has, and hopefully, William Saliba is the next one that can sign a new contract.

“Martin Odegaard has also shown enough now to deserve a new contract. I would certainly be negotiating because he’s playing so well,” Parlour told Fairplay.

Saka, 21, has been brilliant for Arsenal so far this season.

The England international has scored 12 goals and registered 10 assists for Mikel Arteta’s side so far this term.
