Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has claimed his team will not win the Premier League if they fail to find consistency.
Maresca was speaking to journalists ahead of this fixture against Aston Villa this weekend.
The Blues go into the game seven points behind Unai Emery’s men, who occupy third spot.
Chelsea have not picked up enough points when playing small teams, ensuring their good results against big teams count for little.
“Probably it’s correct in this moment, and it’s the reason why we are not probably in this moment close to the top is that we need to be more consistent against different kinds of teams,” Maresca told Sky Sports.
“If you want to be there at the end of the season, you have to be consistent; otherwise, you struggle.”
