Veteran entertainer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has stirred buzz online after posting a special Independence Day update for his followers.

As Nigeria marked its 65th Independence anniversary on October 1, many citizens reflected on the nation’s unity, resilience, and enduring spirit.

Joining the celebration, Charly Boy uploaded a video showing him sharing breakfast with former President Olusegun Obasanjo. The two were seen engaging in lively conversations, touching on issues of men’s health and the state of the nation.

In the viral clip, Charly Boy revealed that Obasanjo had personally invited him over. He went on to hail the elder statesman, describing him as the “father of fathers.”

The lighthearted moment quickly attracted reactions from social media users, with many weighing in on the unusual yet heartwarming encounter.

Area Fada wrote:”When Fada go see Father. Dis na how I spend my October 1st, with The Baba of dem all, OBJ. Baba summoned me to have breakfast with him. We talked about men’s health and Nigeria. The tins wey responsible Nigerian men dey go through no be small matter. Men, una dey try. Well done. It shall be well with us.
