Collins Yira Sor has described his maiden invitation to the Super Eagles a “big shock” even has he expressed his desire to make his mark for the three-time African champions, NEWSUNPLUG reorts.
The KRC Genk star is one of the three new players invited for Nigeria’s upcoming friendlies against Iran and Jordan.
Sor will be looking to impress at the senior level having represented Nigeria at the U-20 level in the past.
The dazzling winger was part of the Flying Eagles squad to the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland.
“Just two months ago, I was watching the team at the AFCON, and I was nervous, every game they played I was supporting the team, Sor told the Super Eagles media.
“Two, three months later, I got called up to join this team, it was really a shock for him to be honest. I thank God for everything.
“To represent Nigeria, over 200 million people, something to say that I’m honoured . It’s a privilege I must not take for granted. I have to push to the maximum.”
Sor also revealed what he will bring to the Super Eagles.
“I’m a player with a lot of pace, I love linking up play with my teammates. I hope I can give this to team, and together we can achieve more.”
