Unknown gunmen have kidnapped Ibrahim Sarkin Fada, the District Head of Kasuwar Daji in Kaura Namoda local government area of Zamfara state on Thursday, April 27.
According to the reports, the gunmen stormed Kasuwar Daji village in large numbers, shot sporadically into the air before heading straight to the District Head’s house where they whisked him away.
“I heard about two gunshots between 2:30 and 3:00 am. I was called later around 4am by a friend who told me that our district head was abducted. It is terrible indeed,” a resident of the area said
The state police command is yet to comment on this development.
