Unknown assailants have k!lled a Tiv youth, Mr. Stephen Terkaa Terkuma, at Tir-Tser village, Chanchanji Ward in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State.
It was gathered that Terkuma was shot d3ad while riding a motorcycle from Amadu to Takum on Sunday, February 8, 2026.
The incident, which occurred along the Amadu–Takum route, has left residents in shock, with fears mounting over the safety of road users and traders in the area.
Local sources say the assailants are yet to be identified, as community members lament a rise in violent attacks in recent weeks.
Residents are calling on security agencies to intensify patrols and investigations.
