Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has opened up about his thoughts on marriage and fidelity.
Speaking on the In My Opinion podcast, he revealed that he wouldn’t be bothered if his wife had sexual relations with someone else while he is away touring or working.
“Most married couples don’t keep having the same amount of s@x they had at the beginning; it naturally reduces. So, if someone else is satisfying her s+xually while I’m out hustling or touring, that’s fine. There’s more to marriage than s@x,” he said.
He added that emotional connection and loyalty are more important than physical intimacy. “I don’t mind her sleeping with someone else as long as she remains dedicated to me,” he said.
Blaqbonez also noted the significance of the bond he shares with his partner: “It would be hard for another man to match the emotional connection I’ve built. They might not even make her laugh like I do. In fact, if I ever get married, I’d prefer we have two separate rooms and only meet when we want intimacy.”
