Nigerian skit maker and musician Nasboi has addressed recent comments made by fellow content creator Carter Efe, warning against speaking negatively about the online comedy industry that helped many creators rise to fame.
Speaking during a recent discussion, Nasboi described Carter Efe as someone who often talks carelessly, but emphasized that creators should be careful not to disrespect the same platform that gave them recognition.
“I know CarterEfe is a loose talker… Don’t speak bad about the game that made you blow,” Nasboi said.
His remarks come amid growing conversations within the skit-making community about loyalty, respect, and the role the industry has played in launching many careers.
Nasboi also revealed that he has cut off communication with another figure in the space, Okiki, stating that he has already blocked him. According to Nasboi, he has personally witnessed efforts by popular skit creator Sydney Talker to support Okiki.
“I already blocked Okiki… I have seen Sydney Talker give Okiki money and a platform,” he added.
His comments have since sparked discussions online, with fans debating the ongoing tensions and relationships among Nigerian digital creators. While some supporters agree with Nasboi’s stance on respecting the industry, others believe the situation highlights deeper disagreements within the comedy and content-creation space.
The exchange has once again drawn attention to the evolving dynamics between some of Nigeria’s biggest online personalities, as the skit-making industry continues to grow and influence entertainment culture across social media platforms.
