A Nigerian woman, Joy Ogidinta, has opened up about her life and single parenting six years after her divorce, noting how marrying the wrong person can reset one’s life.

While love is the foundation, she noted that it is not enough to sustain a marriage.

“Getting married wrongly can reset your entire life. This picture carries a story. Six years divorced. Sole – parenting this beautiful girl. Still rebuilding, emotionally, mentally, financially,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

“I loved deeply. But love was not enough. Love without values will drain you. Love without emotional maturity will break you. Love without accountability will leave scars

“I’m sharing this because too many people rush into marriage with hope but without clarity.”
