Skitmaker Shank Comics has publicly called out a car dealer, Abana Cars, accusing them of selling him a faulty Mercedes AMG Coupé worth ₦123 million.
In a video shared online, Shank revealed that despite returning the vehicle over two months ago, the dealer has yet to issue a refund.
He explained that he purchased the car in July 2025 as a personal gift, but upon its arrival in Lagos, he immediately noticed mechanical issues. According to him, Abana Cars initially claimed it was a minor fan problem and took the vehicle for repairs. However, a week later, Shank said he discovered the car had a more serious brainbox (ECU) fault.
Although both parties agreed to a full refund of ₦123 million, the skitmaker stated that he has not received his money nearly three months later.
Expressing his frustration, Shank wrote:
“I didn’t drive the car once! When it got to Lagos, I noticed the issue. I complained, Abana said it was a small fan problem. I said okay, fix it. Bring it back. One week later, we found out the car had a brainbox issue. We agreed on a refund of 123M. It’s been almost three months. You’re telling me nonsense! You keep tagging someone else to answer me. I need my money now. I’m coming to ABJ @abanacars.”
His post has since sparked massive reactions online, with many urging him to take legal action and recounting similar experiences with unreliable car dealers.
