Famous comedian Bright Okpocha aka Basketmouth has claimed that comedy wasn’t in his career agenda.
Basketmouth, in an interview with Thisday Newspaper’s weekend style magazine, said his first passion was to be a rapper.
Basketmouth said that he never knew he was funny because he was usually among hilarious friends, until one day he realized that he was a talented comedian.
He said that though he was keen about being a rapper and confused either to pursue comedy as a career or be a rapper, he had to eventually appreciate and embrace comedy.
The famous Bright also revealed that his parents never discouraged him when he made his decision to become a comic during his formative years
He said they gave him just one condition, which was for him to complete his education.
