Adekunle, a prominent participant among the top six in the recently concluded BBNaija All Stars season, disclosed the quality that drew him to his former housemate and romantic interest, Venita.
He shared that he was instantly captivated by Venita when he made a joke and she was the only one who caught it.
Adekunle elaborated that Venita’s intelligence distinguished her from the rest, as he is inclined towards sharp-minded women.
He said,
“To be honest, I didn’t focus on getting into a relationship, but I know that in my previous season, I didn’t interact with women much. So my plan this time around was to interact with more women.
“I noticed Venita in the first week. I threw a joke in the air and she was the only one that caught it. I actually like intelligent women. I was like I’m going to pay extra attention to her.
“And she was very different from the rest of the housemates. So, I saw an opportunity to get to know her. When I was the Head of the House, I was the only one upstairs. And I was like I’m not going to sleep alone this time around. So, I took her up.”
Bad Boy Deks as his housemates referred to him also admitted that his affair with the mother of two during their stay in the house was enjoyable and taught him a lot about the relationship dynamics.
He noted,
“I think one of the key things of a relationship is essentially being able to take from each other and learn from each other. All in all, even if we had our down moments, I enjoyed the ship.”
