The family of music icon Innocent Idibia, known as 2Baba, has formally submitted a petition to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) regarding disturbing incidents allegedly involving Miss Natasha Irobosa Osawaru and their son and brother.

The petition, dated November 12, 2025, requests the intervention of the Nigerian Police Force to investigate a series of allegations.

The Idibia family has raised serious claims against Natasha Osawaru, including:

Alleged Physical Assault: The petition claims alleged physical assault incidents committed by Miss Natasha Irobosa Osawaru against Mr. Innocent Idibia (2Baba) in both the United Kingdom and Abuja.

Substance Allegations: The family has petitioned the IGP’s office to investigate Miss Natasha Osawaru’s alleged involvement in giving their son, Innocent, various drugs. This is listed in the formal petition as “Substance abuse by Miss Natasha Irobosa Osawaru, allegedly resulting in violent behavior, causing Mr. Innocent Ujah Idibia (professionally known as 2Baba) emotional distress and financial loss”.

Financial Misappropriation: The family alleges unauthorized access and transfer of funds from Mr. Innocent Ujah Idibia’s phone and bank accounts by Miss Natasha Irobosa Osawaru.

Seizure of Documents: The petition alleges the seizure of personal property and travel documents, including his passport, which prevented him from attending business engagements and performances.

The document states these incidents have caused Mr. Innocent Ujah Idibia “severe emotional distress, financial hardship, and public embarrassment,” and warns that his personal safety and mental wellbeing appear to be at risk.
