Implement policies to improve automotive industry, technicians urges Tinubu

Motor Mechs and Technicians Association of Nigeria (MOMTAN) has urged President-elect, Bola Tinubu, to put policies and programmes in place to boost the nation’s automotive industry.

In a letter addressed to Tinubu yesterdasy, MOMTAN congratulated Tinubu and Kashim Shettima on their victory at the presidential election.

National President, Alhaji Maruf Arowolo, described Tinubu’s victory as confidence reposed in his capacity to develop the country.

He said,

“The victory is a positive development in Nigeria’s democratic journey. We urge Tinubu to deepen Nigeria’s democratic process, advance social democracy, and guarantee a better life for all. We also urged the president-elect to work towards the betterment of lives as well as ensure the country meets its responsibility to Africans.

“Your victory is a call to duty and urged the president-elect to consolidate on the infrastructure development and progress recorded in the country. We appeal to you to put policies to boost fortunes of the automotive industry.

‘’I commend the voters for their participation, patience and resilience in voting in the election.”
