Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay Idibia has addressed the recent stir on Instagram after she liked a post by Laila Charani, the Moroccan wife of politician Ned Nwoko.
Charani’s post accused Regina Daniels of resisting efforts by Nwoko to help her overcome substance abuse issues, claiming that she had been introduced to drugs six years ago and that Nwoko played a role in her recovery.
Annie’s interaction with the post sparked reactions online, with many fans speculating about her stance in the ongoing co-wife dispute.
Responding to the situation, Annie took to Instagram to clarify that the like was accidental. She stated:
“In the process of reading the rubbish that was alleged about my baby, Regina, I liked the post mistakenly. Over here, we don’t play with loyalty, and my baby knows I have her back, front, and side. Make una rest abeg.”
This isn’t Annie’s first public show of support for Regina Daniels. In October, she celebrated the actress’s birthday with a heartfelt message, praising her as a young queen with a generous heart.
Describing Regina as “selfless, loving, carefree, and brilliant,” Annie highlighted her admiration for the actress’s personality and achievements.
