Everton midfielder Alex Iwobi has lavished praises on Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle, NEWSUNPLUG  reports.

Chelle took charge of the three-time African champions in January.

The Malian resurrected Nigeria’s World Cup dream after a poor start to the qualifying series.

Under Chelle, the Super Eagles are unbeaten in six competitive games, four wins and two draws.

Iwobi said the gaffer has created a positive atmosphere around the team.

“He’s such a great man. We almost don’t see him as like a manager, but like a big brother. He’s created a big brotherhood,”Iwobi told BBC Sport Africa.

“You see him on the touchline. He gets heated – he’s literally trying to fight for us.

“It motivates us, that we want to play not just for Nigeria but for him as well.”

It has been confirmed that six players will be absent for Real Madrid in the upcoming match against Barcelona, including four starters!
