Controversial street-hop artist Portable has stirred new drama on social media after publicly calling out Tanzanian singer Juma Jux the husband of Priscilla Ojo for visiting Nigeria and recording a new song without informing him.
Portable said he was surprised to learn via Instagram that Juma Jux had quietly travelled to Nigeria and teamed up with his associate, Ekunrawo, to record a track titled Halima.
The Zazu crooner questioned why no one mentioned Juma Jux’s visit to him and insisted that, since the song has already been released, he must be featured on it.
He wrote on Instagram:
“So @juma_jux enter Naija do song with my bro @officialekunrawo and nobody tell me. E don set oo. Una must find space for me for this Halima song. Artiste @officialekunrawo featuring @juma_jux. Song title Halima.”
His outburst quickly sparked reactions online, with fans debating whether Juma Jux should respond or simply ignore the controversy.
One user commented, “Portable wants to be on every song. Fear this guy.” Another joked, “Juma Jux just entered wahala. Portable has entered the chat.”
Portable, known for his fiery personality, has made headlines repeatedly for similar confrontations. Not long ago, he criticized Olamide for excluding him from a London show, claiming one of his hit tracks boosted Olamide’s international recognition.
What started as a routine music collaboration has now become a trending topic, thanks to Portable’s reaction. Whether Juma Jux decides to include him on Halima or stay silent, the online buzz shows no signs of stopping.
