Juventus have officially parted ways with head coach Igor Tudor following a poor run of results that saw the club go eight matches without a win across all competitions.
Juventus released an official statement confirming Tudor’s dismissal along with his backroom staff, announcing that Massimo Brambilla, coach of Juventus Next Gen, will take over in the interim. The decision to sack him came after a narrow l–0 defeat to Lazio, leaving the former Serie A giants languishing in eighth place in Serie A and six points off the league leaders.
Tudor was appointed with the hopes of the stakeholders up high as a replacement for Thiago Motta. However, a poor start to the 2025–26 campaign with five straight draws followed by three defeat proved costly. Despite guiding Juventus to a fourth-place finish and Champions League qualification last season, Tudor’s inability to turn results around this term led the club’s hierarchy to act swiftly.
Who will replace Tudor at Juventus?
Juventus have appointed Massimo Brambilla as their new interim manager ahead of upcoming games. However, there are reports suggest that names like Luciano Spalletti, Raffaele Palladino, and Roberto Mancini are being considered as long-term replacements.
The exit of Tudor after seven months into his tenure, marking another chapter in Juventus’ turbulent managerial history.
