A young lady has revealed how the scales from her eyes fell after her boyfriend asked her to focus on him rather than her ailing father.
The lady took to her page to share how she broke up with her boyfriend following a tweet she responded to.
A netizen questioned his followers about what made them realize their partners were not the right ones to settle down with.
Replying to the tweet, the lady disclosed that when she was taking care of her sick father, her boyfriend told her to leave her father and focus fully on him and their relationship.
According to her, her boyfriend told her her ailing father is her past while he is now her future.
“Lol, I was looking after my dad due to his health, and Oga blatantly said to leave my dad and focus on him fully because he’s my future and my dad is my past…..That was when the scales fell off my eyes”.
