Adams Akor was relieved to end his nine-game goal drought after scoring in Sevilla’s 4-0 thrashing Real Oviedo on Sunday.
The 25-year-old also registered two assists in the game.
Akor was criticised by Sevilla fans for his poor display in the game against Valencia last week.
The Nigeria international responded with a Man of the Match display versus Real Oviedo to silence his critics.
The striker is now looking forward to scoring more goals for the Rojiblancos.
“I wouldn’t say that. The best is yet to come. The best is yet to come. The best thing is the three points, which we also deserved against Valencia,” Akor was quoted by Elsevillista.
