Los Angeles Lakers icon, LeBron James, has been diagnosed with sciatica and is set to miss the start of the new NBA season.
This is going to be season No 23 for the four-time NBA champion and four-time MVP in the NBA.
But according to Shams Charania, he would be sidelined for “at least three to four weeks” with the issue.
The sciatica is reported to be “on his right side”, and is yet another injury blow the 40-year-old has picked up in recent months.
Last season, James sprained the medial collateral ligament in his left knee and missed time in last season’s playoffs.
James also had nerve irritation in his glute and missed the start of training camp.
