Actress Georgina Onuoha says malicious individuals have infiltrated the ‘’May Nation, the support group of May Yul-Edochie, businesswoman and the estranged wife of actor, Yul Edochie.
The May Nation emerged after the actor took his colleague, Judy Austin, as a second wife. Nigerians who felt May’s pain came together to show support for her and have maintained the support over the years.
In a post shared on her IG page, Georgina thanked the May Nation for standing for May over the years but advised them to please mirror her attributes of seeking peace at all times. She said the support group now have people in their midst who attack people online and display attributes that are not synonymous to May who they claim they support.

”Dear May Nation,
First and foremost, thank you sincerely and deeply for standing with my sister, May Yul-Edochie, through everything. You came together after witnessing the injustice done to her, and even in her silence, you have continued to speak for her, defend her, and fight for her. For that, I am truly grateful.
Most of you are genuine supporters. You want May to succeed, to heal, and to thrive. You advocate for her because you know who she is a quiet, peace-loving, kind, gracious, family-centered woman whose core values have always been love, loyalty, and dignity.
That is why I am making this appeal:
As you continue to love and support her, please mirror her virtues.
May is not a violent person.
She does not threaten.
She does not harass.
She does not go after people’s families.
She does not engage in cruelty.
It saddens me that malicious individuals have infiltrated your community, using the “May Nation” name to cause harm, issue threats, and provoke chaos. Someone close to me recently received a vile message threatening her children and family under this banner. Let me be very clear: that does not represent May, and it does not represent May Nation.
I urge you not to cause any harm or send vile messages threatening anyone’s life or family, no matter how triggered or provoked you may feel. Let me be very clear: that does not represent May, and it does not represent May Nation.
May Nation has no headquarters.
You are people united by justice and love for one woman, so please be vigilant and continue to fight peacefully for justice.
They have tried everything to destroy May, and it has not worked. Now they seek to provoke her. But May will not respond. It is best they stop making negative, defamatory posts that are triggering and tagging her into them because they know she will respond or engage.
As the Igbos say: ama ndi aneze “dignity in silence”.
She has endured threats, cruelty, and harassment and has chosen peace. That is her strength. And No matter the provocative to force her into answering or explaining; No she will not.
So I plead with you:
If you love her, mirror her heart.
Mirror her kindness.
Mirror her restraint.
Mirror her grace.
To anyone harmed by actions falsely done in May’s name, I extend my personal apology.
I urge you all to maintain integrity, patience, and love. Thank you for your good deeds. Please continue, but remain watchful. Protect the purity of your cause.
