Manchester City and the Premier League have settled their dispute over the rules governing associated party transactions (APTs).

City have now accepted that the current rules governing APTS are “valid and binding.”

Back in February, the former champions contested amendments made to the rules.

The rules are to enforce fair market value in commercial deals, especially the ones with organisations closely related to the club owners.

They also seek to prevent the artificial inflation of such deals.

City and the Premier League both released statements on Monday, confirming that they have “agreed to terminate the proceedings.”

In a separate legal case, City face more than 100 charges of alleged financial breaches from the Premier League.
