A woman who was accused of scamming innocent Nigerians after she shared photos of her sick father and asked for donations has been exonerated.

When the X user begged the public for financial help, she shared photos of her father in the hospital to back her claims.

However, an X user accused her of defrauding people with his late uncle’s photos. He then shared photos of his deceased uncle and his chat with his uncle’s children to back his claim.

Subsequently,  the woman whose father is sick shared a video from the hospital with her sick father to defend herself.

The man who claimed his uncle’s photo was what the lady shared online has now admitted that he made a mistake.

He said the woman’s sick father bears a striking resemblance to his late uncle and suffered a similar ailment. He has now apologised to the woman and her family.
