A 34-year-old woman has been found dead in a shallow canal in Mabolufon, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
The Ogun State Police Command said Bidemi Damilola went missing and her husband, Adekunle Fetiga, made a report at the Igbeba Police Division. He explained that his wife had left home on Thursday, Nov. 2, but did not return.
Tragically, Bidemi’s body was found on Friday, Nov. 3, in a canal. A plastic bag containing an unidentified liquid substance was also found at the scene.
Her body has been deposited at the State Hospital Mortuary in Ijebu-Ode for an autopsy and an investigation has commenced to unravel the circumstances of her death.
