N78billion Pulls Wike to Buhari

Governor Nyesom Wike thanks President Buhari For Refunding N78.9bn Spent In Fixing Federal Roads To Rivers State.

Wike in his six-paragraph letter published in the nation newspaper which made headline appreciated the presidency for paying the sum of 78 billion Naira owed the state for construction, repair and maintenance of federal roads within Rivers state.

The governor also used the medium to seek for a state visit from the presidency to see some of the state accomplishments.

Governor Nyesom Wike tagged President Muhammadu Buhari a President for all irrespective of political party differences.

Recall that past administrations like the Obasanjo administration refused to pay Lagos state some it allowances due to political parties and political differences which also reoccurred in the Goodluck Jonathan administration with Wike predecessor Rotimi Ameachi.

Having received the N78billion Gov Wike decides to play politics by his head rather than his emotions.

Indeed Governor Wike has shown that there is time for politics, time for criticism, time for governance and a time to appreciate the good gesture.
